My answer to the prompt: What should I work on next? Maybe I should do the next step in the testing project. But I'm too valuable to be wasted running a test program when I could write the source code myself. How can I convince the company that that's where they should be using me? I know, I'll go to see the boss and tell him how elegant the code is. Then I'll make a suggestion on how it can be improved. That will impress him. One of the girls in the cubicle down the hall is talking about a concert she went to with a guy in my group. How can I get involved in the conversation? I don't know the band she's talking about. Oh, she just said, "A capella." The Brown Derbys are an a capella group that I like. I'll talk about them. She'll like that. I'm sure The Brown Derbys are better than the band she's talking about because I've never heard of them.
